Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Water Cooler Wisdom LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or submit information through one of our forms.

Information We Collect

When you fill out a form on this site (for example, on our Let's Chat, Free Website Offer, or $19 Upgrade pages), we may collect:

  • Your name and business name
  • Your phone number and email address
  • Your current website URL, if provided
  • Any message or details you include in the form
  • If you use our free website form, details about your business that you share in its later steps (such as your services, where you operate, a short business summary, and how you prefer to be contacted)

Some of our forms have more than one step. We receive your answers to each step as you submit it, even if you do not complete the final step.

We do not collect payment card information directly — any payments are handled by a third-party payment processor, which has its own privacy practices.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and follow up by phone, text, and/or email
  • Build and deliver the service or website you requested
  • Send you updates related to a service you've signed up for

By submitting a form on this site, you consent to being contacted by phone, text message (including by autodialer), and email at the information you provide, for the purpose stated on that form. Message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Third-Party Services

This site uses a small number of third-party services to operate:

  • Netlify — hosts this website and processes form submissions.
  • Google reCAPTCHA — helps protect our forms from spam and abuse.
  • Google Fonts — provides the typography used on this site.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel — helps us measure the results of our ads and reach people who may be interested in our services.
  • Google Ads (Google tag) — helps us measure the results of our Google ads and reach people who may be interested in our services.
  • YouTube — plays the podcast episode videos embedded on our pages, and may set cookies when you play them.
  • Calendly — powers the scheduling calendar on our podcast guest page. Information you enter when booking is collected by Calendly and shared with us.

These providers may process limited technical data (such as your IP address) as part of delivering their service. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of these third parties beyond our use of their services.

Cookies

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and for advertising measurement. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which may set cookies and collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view and actions you take (for example, submitting a form). This information is shared with Meta and is used to measure our ads and show them to people who may be interested. It is subject to Meta's own privacy policy. We also use the Google tag, which may set cookies and collect similar information about your visit so we can measure the results of our Google ads and show them to people who may be interested. That information is shared with Google and is subject to Google's privacy policy. We also store the source of your visit (for example, whether you arrived from a Facebook, Instagram, or Google ad) in your browser's local storage for up to 7 days, and include it when you submit a form (along with, for Google ads, the keyword that triggered the ad) so we know which ad your request came from. You can manage ad personalization in your Facebook, Instagram, and Google ad settings and control cookies and stored site data through your browser settings.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share information with the service providers listed above, to the extent necessary for them to provide their service to us, or when required by law.

Data Retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to provide the service you requested, respond to your inquiry, or as required by law.

Declining Requests and Ending Service

We may decline any website request at any time. If you are on a recurring service or subscription, we may also cancel your subscription and stop working with you at any time. If that happens, we will continue to handle the information you submitted as described in this Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by reaching out through our Contact page.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business owners and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes.
